A perfect circle: How does the circular economy work?
For many people, a closed-loop economy simply means waste management – but there is much more to a circular economy than that. The aim is to close and slow down resource cycles. A circular economy recognises concepts such as waste prevention, reuse and repair. It starts with product design and encompasses manufacturing and (re)use.
