The German Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB) and the German Federal Environment Agency (UBA) are organizing a conference entitled “Sustainable Chemistry 2015: the way forward”. Experts from all over the world will be discussing the role of sustainable chemistry as a key element of the future development of societies. The event will be held on 24th-25th September 2015 in Berlin with the support of the Green Chemistry Commerce Council (GC3) and the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU). Registration is open now.

The conference will start with a high-level panel that will discuss the 2020 goals of the Strategic Approach to the International Chemicals Management. Furthermore, guiding principles for sustainable chemistry will be presented and the related opportunities, barriers and needs will be discussed with international scientists, experts and decision makers.
