In the project, proposals are developed for the continuation of the European chemicals regulation REACH after 2018 and its implementation. The aim of the project is to analyse the implementation of the REACH regulation and to identify and describe potential for improvement. The project is divided into 10 work packages that focus on different aspects, including an examination of the processes of restriction, authorisation, substance evaluation and dossier evaluation. Furthermore, potentials for strengthening the precautionary principle or sustainable chemistry are examined.
