Advising the waste recycling company of the district of Ludwigsburg in connection with the release of waste arising from the dismantling of nuclear installations"

With the decommissioning of the nuclear power plant Neckarwestheim I ( GKN I) about 3300 Mg of waste are to be released for disposal . The waste is to be stored in a landfill of AVL in the district of Ludwigsburg . To ensure compliance with the necessary conditions , are carried out by the Öko-Institut on behalf of the AVL controls on free measurement . In addition, there is a support of AVL in communicating with the public . Based on previously embedded shared waste from Karlsruhe Research equipment measurements are carried out at the landfill and evaluated .
