Analysis and technical evaluation of measures at nuclear installations in decommissioning in accordance with Section 7 of the Atomic Energy Act and during the operation of research reactors

Scientific and technical support of the BMU on behalf of GRS on short-term issues of federal supervision. The aim of the project is to advise the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) on scientific and technical issues arising within the scope of its responsibilities with regard to the federal supervision of the German nuclear power plants in decommissioning, the related public relations work and the research reactors. For this purpose, research is to be conducted on various issues of generally limited scope that arise at short notice in the BMU. Assessment standards are to be developed and assessments of technical and scientific issues are to be submitted. This should enable the BMU to be supported in the short term.
