Assessment and valuation of Vinylchloride contamination in the vicinity of the industrial park Solvay in Rheinberg

Solvay operates a plant for the production of PVC with the associated ancillary facilities on the Solvay industrial estate in Rheinberg. Among other things, these plants emit vinyl chloride.

In a first step, the Oeko-Institut was commissioned to review the existing immission calculation to determine whether it was suitable for determining and defining the location and number of measurement sites. In a second step, the number of measurement locations and the duration of the measurements were then determined and the approximate location of the measurement locations determined.
