Carbon Credit Quality Initiative (CCQI) – Update of the methodology

Founded by Environmental Defense Fund, Oeko-Institut and World Wildlife Fund (WWF-US), the Carbon Credit Quality Initiative (CCQI) provides transparent information on the quality of carbon credits. As part of this assignment, the CCQI updated its methodology to assess different types of carbon credits, resulting in version 3.0 of the methodology published on the CCQI website ( www.carboncreditquality.org ). The methodology update incorporates lessons learned from the application of the methodology to the first three project types and carbon crediting programmes.
