Climate-related due diligence obligations of private entities

Against the background of the increasing integration of environmental due diligence obligations of private parties in European supply chain laws and recent rulings on the liability of so-called "carbon majors" for climate damage, the short project deals with the basic characteristics, functions and regulatory potentials of climate-related due diligence obligations for corporations. The results of these considerations are presented and discussed at a joint workshop with representatives of the Federal Ministry for the Environment and the Federal Environment Agency.
