Consultancy for the national communications of non-Annex I Parties on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment

In 2002, Lambert Schneider of Oeko-Institut was nominated by the EU to participate in the Consultative Group of Experts on the national communications of non-Annex I Parties (CGE) and represented the EU on behalf of the BMU. In this context, Schneider participated in two workshops and Oeko-Institut also took part in a UNFCCC negotiation session on improving the guidelines for national communications of non-Annex I countries.
