Consultancy services to the Climate Policy Support Project of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development

The aim of the project is to provide expert advice to the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) on topics relevant for the Foundation Development and Climate Alliance. This includes in particular the following topics: negotiations on Article 6 of the Paris Agreement and their impact on the voluntary carbon market, the potential for the use of carbon credits by BMZ in the context of development cooperation, developments in the voluntary carbon market in Germany and internationally, and co-benefits) of carbon crediting projects. The project provides support in the form of background papers, reviews and speaking notes.
