Controllable urban material flows: Possibilities and limits of sustainable management of material flows of cities and urban regions by means of city planning instruments

The aim of the project is to examine urban planning instruments with regard to their current and potential influences/impacts on urban material flows, also on the basis of case studies. On the basis of these, possibilities for controlling material flows will be identified and gaps, limits or obstacles will be listed in this context. Recommendations for action will be prepared for specific target groups.
