CSR in retailing and manufacturing – update and extension of an empirical concept to survey six selected sectors

Following the revision of the retailer questionnaires in December 2010 / January 2011 based on a review of the industry-specific relevant labels and quality seals, the survey was to be expanded and extended to include manufacturers in order to be able to survey manufacturing companies for the first time. In order to keep the process transparent and also to enable a limited comparison between retailers and manufacturers, the questionnaires were to be based on the existing retailer questionnaires. As part of the project, the need for adaptation and change identified during processing was identified and summarised.
