Development and revision of criteria for the Blue Angel for textiles

The aim of the research project is "to revise the Blue Angel criteria for textiles (DE-UZ 154) by 2022 and, based on this, to derive tender recommendations for public procurement. In view of the current activities in the field of research and development of new fibres, but also against the background of new developments in the use of fibres in the market, special emphasis will be placed on the revision and further development of the fibre criteria. This will be based on a thorough environmental assessment of the range of fibres used or under development. In addition, the research results are to be made available to the general (specialist) public.
