Development of the investment situation of commercial cogeneration plants and perspectives for subsidy strategies

In this project a stocktaking of cogeneration plants in Germany, especially for self producers, is conducted. The financial situation for investments and operation of these plants is analysed and trends and challenges for cogeneration at present and in the near future are disucssed. On this basis subsidy strategies are recommended for commercial cogeneration plants.
