Electric commercial vehicle study for the state of Berlin

The aim of this study is to quantify the total energy demand and the required charging infrastructure for Berlin and its immediate surroundings, differentiated according to charging use cases. Measures are to be derived that support the development of suitable charging facilities and their requirements, e.g. with regard to grid connection. Target groups include public administration, logistics companies, electricity grid and charging infrastructure operators. The study focuses on N2 and N3 class vehicles and also looks at N1 class fleets and M3 class buses in occasional transport. The surrounding area of Berlin in Brandenburg is included, as a large proportion of commercial traffic has its source or destination there.
