ENSURE: New Energy Grid Structures for Energy Transition (Phase III)

The ENSURE project team researches innovative solutions to make the electricity grid fit for the future. In the third phase, the partners are taking the approaches developed to date for a future-proof energy grid and testing them in practice in hybrid real-world operation. Oeko-Institut is coordinating the overarching evaluation of these approaches and analysing regulatory approaches that enable these innovations to be implemented in the grid in practice. Oeko-Institut is also exploring how society can be involved in the implementation of these solutions.
