EUROSTAT: Support on statistics on specific waste streams (Call for tenders ESTAT/2023/OP/0026)

The project covers the following aspects/tasks: a) Management of waste statistics from various reporting obligations from data collection to publication: 1. Directive 2008/98/EC on waste (Waste Framework Directive - WFD), 2. Directive 2000/53/EC on end-of-life vehicles (ELV), 3. Directive 2012/19/EU repealing Directive 2002/96/EC on electronic and electrical waste (WEEE) on 15 February 2014, 4. Directive 2006/66/EC on batteries and accumulators, 5. Municipal waste statistics, and 6. Regulation 1013/2006/EC on waste shipments; b) Preparation for and managing of reporting based on the revised Directives and respective Commission Implementing and Delegated Decisions; c) Adjusting the collection and validation processes to the new rules and requirements, providing support on the preparation and implementation of the new data collections, on methodological issues and drafting technical guidance; and d) Provide support on preparation of replies to user requests related to technical subject matter.
