Evaluation and coordination of methods and indicators for the environmental monitoring of chemicals in Germany to implement an efficacy assessment and a success control under REACH

The project aims to elaborate a recommendation for the use of environmental monitoring data within the effectiveness evaluation and success control under REACH. Work steps and intended results are: - Review of existing environmental and human biomonitoring programmes of chemicals; - Evaluation of methods and indicators of the reviewed monitoring programs with regard to their suitability to be used within the evaluation of chemicals under REACH; - Elaboration of a guideline for the performance of environmental monitoring for the (risk) evaluation of chemicals under REACH; - Set up of list with known or potential SVHC for each environmental compartment as recommendation for environmental monitoring.
