Evaluation of the impact of events within the framework of the "ENERGIE2020" project

The project focuses on the impact assessments of lectures and brief consultations at trade fair and information stands of the North-Rhine Westphalian Consumer Centre (VZ NRW). With the help of the detailed impact model already developed by VZ NRW, the lectures and consultations are evaluated with regard to the continuity of theireffects; to what extent the lectures and advisory services of VZ NRW lead to an increased need for intervention and further measures or whether these are the final impulse. Thus, VZ NRW hopes to be able to better assess the effectiveness and usefulness of its offers.

The project subjects the impact model of the VZ NRW to an examination for comprehensible logic and plausible applicability and estimates its development and mobilization effects as well as the climate protection effect. The possibilities and limits of the impact assessment are also discussed and the results are considered in the context of feasibility and cost-benefit.
