Ex-post evaluation of benefits and costs of environmental legislation

The aim of the project is to analyse the consequences of selected environmental policy regulations (laws, regulations, instruments, etc.) of the past for the economy and society. In concrete terms, it assesses both qualitatively and quantitatively what consequences the environmental regulations have had for the economic sectors concerned, and what changes in the state of the environment the regulation has brought about. The analyses of selected regulations are carried out with the aid of input-output modeling and quantitative cost-benefit analysis.
