Flying high or staying grounded? The relation of aviation and climate protection

How does aviation affect climate change? What kind of measures could be implemented to limit the negative effect of aviation on the climate? This project outlines the development of emissions from aviation and other negative impacts on the climate and shows projections for the future development of aviation. It also presents possible measures on the individual and political level to limit air traffic and its negative consequences. It explains how unavoidable emissions from aviation can be offset and which challenges and benefits are associated with such compensation. Results are prepared for the wider public, published on a dedicated website and communicated via social media.
