Fostering sustainable digitalisation in small and medium enterprises (SME)

The aim of the project is to identify approaches for promoting ecologically sustainable digitilisation in SME. To this end, the project team first map the status quo on the implementation of ecologically sustainable digitization in SME as well as the barriers and motivators that promote or hinder ecologically sustainable digitilisation. In a second step, the team analyses the existing incentive system for promoting ecologically sustainable digitization in SME and compares with the identified barriers and motivators. In this context, the cooperation of digital start-ups with SME will be examined in more detail. In addition, the project team looks at current methods for the measurement and reporting of sustainability data.
