Hydrogen Strategy 2.0 for Germany

The aim of the project is to systematically work through the fields of action that are particularly relevant with a view to building a hydrogen economy as the fourth pillar of the energy transition towards climate neutrality (after energy efficiency, use of renewable energies for direct use or for electricity generation, electrification). The analyses initially focus primarily on the time horizon 2030 (this time horizon has the greatest relevance for most of the policy instruments and projects), but are always accompanied by a consistency check with a view to the trends that are necessary or can be expected in the run-up to climate neutrality (2050 at the latest).
