Implementation of the Climate Action Programme 2020 – scientific support to the implementation of measures of the Action Programme

The implementation of the measures of the Climate Action Programme 2020 as adopted by the government is supported in a continuous process from a scientific perspective. In addition, the German Ministry for the Environment (BMU) is supported in preparing the annual Climate Action Report. For this purpose, greenhouse gas mitigation effects of measures adopted by the government according to the current state of implementation are quantified in a recurring manner.
