Influence of market structures and market regulation on the carbon market in China, Mexico, South Korea, California and the EU

The project aims to understand the influence of different market structures and regulations on the carbon market. Market structures and regulations refer to the carbon market itself as well as its interaction with the energy and financial markets. The electricity sector is the primary focus because of its various interactions with the carbon market, but the heat and transport sector is also investigated.
