Information and data gathering in five Member States to support a JRC study on the effects of the EU Emissions Trading System for the buildings sector

The objective of this study is to collect information and data on the expected impact of the ETS-2 in five selected Member States, as well as on relevant instruments in the buildings sector that could be used to address potentially negative impacts and may be available for funding through the SCF. This will serve to support JRC’s broader analysis of how the ETS-2 and the Social Climate Fund (SCF) will impact households. The result will supplement JRC’s technical analysis and enable a deeper understanding of the impact that the ETS-2 will have in different countries.
