Innovative concepts on participation in the course of the enacting of two regulations, following § 26 and § 27 of the German Site Selection Law: Safety requirements and requirements on preliminary safety assessments

In the course of the issuing process for safety requirements and requirements on preliminary safety assessments stakeholder associations and the citicens interested in the subject shall be given the opportunity to participate. In the context of the development of a participatory concept and the conduction of public participation the Öko-Institut takes care of the technical-scientific quality assessment for me-dia to be produced for the information of stakeholders and interested citicens. Further on, Öko-Institut will be evaluating the participatory concept to help developing a manual for participation in the course of similar processes in the future.
