Model based scenario analysis of energy transition in the German electricity system within the context of future development possibilities in Europe up to 2050

The main goal of the project is to analyse the evolution of the German electricity system as part of theEuropean system on qualitative and quantitative levels. To do so, possible interactions in-betweenGermany and the neighbouring European member states up to the year 2050 are being examined, basedon variable possibilities of evolution. The project focuses on electricity transfer between Germany and its’ neighbours and the resulting impacts within each country.
