Opportunities and risks of methods to remove and store CO2 from the atmosphere – Recommendations based on the analysis of the state of knowledge and a systematic survey of experts in Switzerland

In this study, the opportunities and risks of five NETs selected by TA-SWISS are assessed for Switzerland and its population on the basis of a participatory method. Reforestation, soil management, bioenergy use with CO 2 capture and storage (BECCS), mechanical CO 2 air filtration and storage (DACCS) and accelerated weathering are analysed.
