Paths towards electromobility and sustainable corporate mobility

The project is intended as an overarching research project that scientifically accompanies the transition from the previous isolated and pilot testing of electromobility in companies to the "mainstream" in commercial mobility and accelerates it through the coordinated exchange of experience and targeted information offerings that also have an impact beyond the project participants. Core components of the project are: 1. the scientific support of several companies in the substantial electrification of the corporate fleet and the necessary adaptation processes in the course of the development of sustainable corporate mobility, 2. the networking of the participating companies and other knowledge carriers with the aim of developing innovative mobility concepts in the course of fleet electrification, 3. the provision of information and the creation of suitable communication structures in order to also support companies beyond the research project in the electrification of their vehicle fleets. The project will use the example of several companies from a wide range of industries to show how significant electrification of the corporate fleet can succeed and how the path toward sustainable corporate mobility can be shaped. Several well-known companies have been recruited for this purpose and have set themselves the binding goal of very significantly increasing the proportion of e-vehicles in the company fleet as part of the project, while at the same time working towards lower-emission mobility at various levels - from the use of new mobility concepts to internal guidelines and legal framework conditions.
