Policy Support for Heating and Cooling Decarbonisation

The aim of the study is to provide support for policy-makers and stakeholders regarding renewable energies and energy efficiency of the heating and cooling sector in the EU. The study includes the following elements: • Meta-study compiling the existing knowledge on technologies, regulations, financing instruments and policies related to the decarbonization of heating and cooling. • Development of an online catalogue providing a detailed overview of the current state of knowledge on the decarbonization of heating and cooling. • Promotion of stakeholder cooperation and discussion by setting up and managing an online platform for stakeholder interaction • Establishing a roadmap on heating and cooling decarbonisation, developed with policy makers and stakeholders, and including detailed measures and a toolbox • Organization of three expert stakeholder consultation workshops and a conference on heating and cooling decarbonisation.
