Pre-Feasibility study on the possible commitment of the German Development Cooperation (EZ) in the sector of waste management in Ghana

In 2016, the German Development Cooperation (EZ) intended to resume its work on the matter of waste management in Ghana, putting special focus on improving the situation in the area of E-waste management. With regard to elaborating a potential contribution of EZ, the German Development Cooperation, in the waste sector in Ghana, a preliminary examination (pre-feasibility study) was carried out. This screening in turn was divided into the areas of technical cooperation (TC), as well as financial cooperation (FZ). In this context, Oeko-Institut together with experts from Joyn Coop performed the FC part of the examination which was closely co-ordinated and dovetailed with the examination carried out by the relevant TC experts.
