Preparation of a handbook on relevant data concepts in the EU ETS

The various reports/data sources on greenhouse gas emissions differ both in terms of the period covered, the emissions covered, and the classification systems used. Therefore, a comparison of data and data concepts is not always easy. The aim of the handbook commissioned by the German Emissions Trading Authority at the Federal Environment Agency is to present the similarities and differences of the data concepts and thereby improve the evaluations on stationary EU emissions trading (EU-ETS).
