Professional support and preparation of documents adressing environmental impact assessment of on-site interim storage facility Brunsbüttel

Within the licensing procedure for new approval of the on-site interim storage facility Brunsbüttel an environmental impact assessment is necessary. Oeko Institute examines the environmental impacts of the project as well as the compatibility with the European Habitats directive on behalf of the Federal Office for the Safety of Nuclear Waste Management (BASE). The assessment includes structural changes and the interim storage facility operation. Radiological and non-radiological effects are considered.
