The project team organised a training and provided technical input for the Zero Waste Cities delegation from China, led by the Solid Waste and Chemicals Management Center, Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE). The topics included the National Circular Economy Strategy and its development, the CO2 reduction potential of the circular economy and its connection to national climate targets, technical and regulatory aspects of waste management using the example of textiles and plastics in Germany and Europe.
