Proposals by the Frankfurt Aircraft Noise Commission on measures for active noise abatement: Report on the likelihood of realisation

This Project summarises the main proposals made in 2004 by the (municipal) members of the Frankfurt Aircraft Noise Commission (FKL) for noise reduction through active noise abatement measures and lists the status of implementation. Further proposals, which were examined in the present report with regard to their current realisation, resulted from further position papers of the FLK. For the reporting of the proposals, reference is made, among other things, to the statement of the expert panel on active noise abatement of 29 June 2011 on the hearing of the Aircraft Noise Commission for a 2nd Package of Measures for Active Noise Abatement of 15 September 2010, insofar as measures are proposed there that are included in the catalogue of demands of the FLK.
