Recalculation of specific GWP factors for waste management in Hamburg

In 2008, the Öko-Institut drew up a carbon footprint of waste management in the city of Hamburg. Some of the data on the material and energy recovery of waste from private households in Hamburg are updated in this project. For this purpose, current specific climate factors are determined for the fractions bio and green waste, paper and glass as well as LVP. In addition, the GWP of the energy recovery plants (MVAs) used by SRH is recalculated.
