Recognition of GOs from Greece and Slovakia

In this project, Oeko-Institut - together with its legal partner BBH - assesses whether guarantees of origin for electricity from renewable energies from Greece and Slovakia can and shall be recognised in the sense of Art. 15 RES Directive in the German GO registry which is operated by the German Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt - UBA). For this purpose, a comprehensive analysis of the national systems for guarantees of origin and for fuel mix disclosure is conducted for the respective countries.
