Savings potentials thanks to the automatic TwinDos dosage in washing machines

Thanks to its automatic dosing system, Miele's newly developed washing machine offers the potential to reduce dosage errors that are due to consumer behaviour. Against this background, the objective of the present study was to quantify the potential for annual savings on detergents and the associated environmental impacts thanks to the automatic dosing system - assuming an average utilisation of the washing machine - as compared to manual dosage.
