Scientific analyses of current climate policy issues in the agricultural sector

The project aims to support the German Ministry for the Environment (BMU) in the short-term assessment of climate policy issues in the agricultural sector. The work follows concrete questions arising from the current political debate and is defined in consultation with the BMU in the course of the project. It includes the preparation of short studies and statements on the impacts and consequences of proposed measures in the agricultural sector. Scientific analyses on current topics of the climate and specific policy debate with reference to the agricultural sector are also processed. In addition to the technical evaluation of existing proposals for measures, the project team also contributes its own proposals for measures to the discussion.
