Scientific analysis of the LHS concept for implementing station-based car sharing in Stuttgart

The aim of this project is to provide a substantive scientific opinion on the already existing draft of a car sharing concept, which has been prepared by the Strategic Planning and Sustainable Mobility Unit of the Mobility Department of the State Capital Stuttgart.

The following topics are considered as focal points:

• current development in stationary car sharing,
• spatial aspects of car sharing in public street space,
• formal allocation criteria for car sharing parking spaces and their general conditions
• the further fields of consideration of electromobility,
• the integration in new building projects,
• operational mobility management,
• Incentives for certain user groups / public relations.
