Scientific support for the regional dialogue forum on Frankfurt Airport

The Regional Dialogue Forum was a multistakeholder forum installed by the State of Hesse to observe and analyse all major environmental, economic and social impacts of the enlargement of the Frankfurt Airport on the Rhein-Main Region. It also commissioned studies and developed recommendations on a broad range of topics. The Oeko-Institute was the permanent scientific consultant to this forum. The work covered issues such as emission assessment and prevention, legal and technical questions on operating restrictions, traffic scenarios, noise reduction, health issues, development of real estate prices, contribution to growth and jobs.
