Service contract for support to the development of monitoring, reporting and verification modalities, procedures and guidelines under the UNFCCC

The project team provides advice to the European Commission on the implications of negative emission technologies on the reporting and accounting of greenhouse gas emissions and removals. The team also support the Commission in the reporting of greenhouse gas emissions under the Paris Agreement. The project also involves capacity building related to the 2019 refinement of the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National Greenhouse Gas Inventories to facilitate its progressive implementation by EU Member States.
