Setting landmarks – Anchoring green public procurement principles in training

The project "Setting Landmarks" develops a customized and user-oriented training concept for sustainabel public procurment for organizations that take on training and further education as well as institutions active in the field of public procurement that want to build their capacities internally. The training concept is applied in eight train-the-trainer courses in Germany.

Part of some trainings are current methods for integrated life cycle costing and CO2 emission calculation. For this purpose, an existing EU-wide recognized life cycle cost and CO2 emission calculation tool will be further developed.

Through regional networking meetings throughout Germany, operational procurers and political decision-makers at state and municipal level are sensitized to the topic of "green public procurement" and informed about current developments in this field.
