Smart protection goals for priority hazardous substances (EG/2008/105)

In the Water Framework Directive (WFD) environmental quality targets had been established for priority hazardous substances. Targets for these substances had also been defined in other regulations. However, they were often inconsistent with those laid down in the WFD. In the framework of this project, proposals for a further development of the quality targets were drawn up.
