Social monitoring of climate protection - from monitoring social impacts to impact assessment

The aim of this project is to develop and test proposals for the conceptualisation of social monitoring for climate protection measures. The aim is to identify the possibilities and limitations of such social monitoring, particularly with regard to an ex-ante impact assessment of climate protection measures currently under development. The project provides scientific support to the Federal Government in setting up a social monitoring system aims to enable the social (distributional) impacts of climate protection measures to be assessed and taken into account at an early stage.
