In conjunction with the German Energy Agency's (dena) flagship study "The Dawn of Climate Neutrality - Pathways and Opportunities for Setting the Course of the 20s", this short report provides a qualitative presentation of the options and areas of application of natural GHG sinks as well as an analytical assessment of the potential for actively controllable negative emissions with coherent scenarios. These also reflect changes in use caused by assumptions in other sectors.
