Study on streamlining chemicals data flows, increasing data interoperability, dissemination, re-use and the use of all available data, and on the establishment of a data generation mechanism for the purpose of safety assessments in the context of the European chemicals regulatory framework

The study aims to support the Commission in the preparation of a legislative proposal by identifying options to (i) streamline chemicals related data flows and increase data interoperability, dissemination and re-use, (ii) improve the implementation of legal requirements to consider all available data in a chemical safety assessment and (iii) establish a mechanism to enable monitoring and data generation for the purpose of chemical safety assessments in the context of the European chemicals legislation framework.
