Study on the use of tax incentives to increase the diffusion of thermal retrofit measures and renewable energies in buildings

The study examines how various tax incentives can help to increase the number and scope of energy-efficient renovation measures and the use of renewable energies in the heating market. Different approaches to tax incentives are elaborated and analysed with regard to their effects. In addition, the fiscal and macroeconomic effects of the considered designs are estimated.
