Study "overhead catenary heavy duty vehicle"

The aim of the project is to produce an overview study on overhead catneray heavy duty vehicles that addresses and clearly presents key issues relating to the motivation for the technology, possible technical configurations and conceivable applications and market potential, as well as the energy-related and ecological effects. The study can draw on a variety of sources. On the one hand, analyses from ongoing and completed research projects of the Öko-Institut are available. Selected supplementary analyses can be carried out on this knowledge and data basis. In addition, national and international studies on the topic are consulted within the framework of the project and their findings are processed in a suitable manner or used for comparisons.
